Perfect Steaks
Recipe:
2 - 2 ? inch Boneless rib eye steak (about 1 ? lbs. each)2 tblsps. Olive Oil
Coarse Salt
Freshly Ground Pepper
- Prepare a charcoal or gas grill, arranging the coals for direct cooking.
- Lightly spray the grill rack with vegetable oil spray.
- The coals should be quite hot.
- Drizzle both sides of the steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the steaks on the prepared grill, and cook about 8 minutes per side for rare, 10 minutes per side for medium rare.
- Let the meat rest 1 to 2 minutes before cutting.
